Answers to common questions about Snacq and how to contact us.
How does the cutout work?
Snacq detects and cuts out the food on your iPhone; photos are never uploaded. If no food is detected, the whole photo is used for the card. You can also choose No Cutout.
What does the free version include?
Unlimited cutouts and saved cards, 6 templates (No Template, Cream, Tomato, Picnic, Soda, Notebook), the Feed 1:1 and Xiaohongshu 3:4 sizes, and a small "snacq" watermark. Find Food Photos makes up to 5 cards per import. Snacq Pro adds all 30 templates, the Story 9:16 and Cover 16:9 sizes, your own templates and stickers, no watermark, and bulk imports of any size.
How do I change or cancel my subscription?
Go to iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. The yearly plan starts with a 1-week free trial; cancel before it ends and you won't be charged. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment, so there is nothing to renew or cancel.
Where are my cards stored?
Photos, cards and settings stay on your iPhone only; nothing is synced to a cloud. Deleting the app deletes your cards, so export the ones you want to keep to Photos.
Can I stop Find Food Photos halfway?
Yes. Pause it any time and it picks up where it left off next time. The analysis runs entirely on your iPhone.
How are place names filled in?
When Fill In Place from Photo is on, Snacq looks up the place name in Apple Maps from the photo's location. Turn it off and lookups only happen when you ask.
How do I change the language or theme?
In the app's Settings you can switch between 8 languages, 5 themes (Sky, Mint, Blush, Lavender, Tomato) and dark mode.
Restoring purchases
Signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. You can also restore from the Snacq Pro screen.
