Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how Snacq (“the app”), developed by RUI (“we”), handles information. The app runs on your device and we operate no server that receives your data. We cannot see your photos or cards.
Data we don’t collect
The app requires no account and uses no analytics, ads or tracking. We do not collect personal data and never sell your information.
Stored on your device
Photos, cards, your own templates and stickers, and settings are stored only inside the app on your device. Nothing is synced to a cloud. Deleting the app deletes this data. Device backups made by iOS (such as iCloud Backup) may include it, depending on your device settings.
Photos
The app reads your photo library only when you pick a photo or run Find Food Photos. Food detection and cutouts happen entirely on your device, and photos are never uploaded. To save cards to Photos, the app uses add-only access.
Camera
The camera is used only when you take a photo. The photo is processed on your device.
Location
When you ask for a place, or when Fill In Place from Photo is on, the location recorded in the photo (its coordinates) is sent to Apple Maps solely to look up a place name. Your current location is used only when you ask for it, with While Using the App permission. Apple processes these lookups under its own privacy policy; we receive nothing. You can turn this off in Settings at any time.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Apple (StoreKit). We never receive your payment information.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
